My favourite traditional Chinese festival
Good morning, boys and girls. Today, I'm going to tell you about my favourite festival and one of my unforgettable experiences during the festival.
My favourite festival is the Dragon Boat Festival. This year, it took place on the 7th of June. The festival takes place on a different date each year. This is because it takes place on the 5th day of the 5th month of the traditional Chinese calendar.
During the Dragon Boat Festival, people eat zongzi and race dragon boats. This year, I had lots of fun while helping my mother make bean paste zongzi. We shared them with our neighbours.
